Back in school! as Adjunct Instructor at Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, NY and at The College of St. Rose in Albany, NY. I’m also teaching Jazz Piano students at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY. Good gigs here in the Hudson Valley, and frequent appearances in NYC too.
In February I had a weeklong tour of the Adirondacks and North Country of NY State, teaching and performing. A highlight was playing my compositions/arrangements in a concert as guest artist with the Jazz Ensemble at The Crane School of Music, my alma mater. I also went to Texas, April 22-26, collaborating with saxophonist Woody Witt, including performances at the Katy Jazz Festival and a weekend at Cezanne, Houston’s premiere jazz club.
