After 30 years based in Manhattan, living and performing in the heart of the NYC jazz world, we're now living in my hometown of Millbrook, NY in the Hudson Valley, a short trip from NYC. I’m enjoying the peace and quiet here, am teaching quite a bit and playing regularly in this area. 2016 Highlights

My good friend from Houston, tenor saxophonist Woody Witt, was here this summer for a NY State tour. We played at Smalls in NYC, then did four performances in the Adirondacks and three more in the Hudson Valley. We also did a recording session of mostly our own compositions, with Lee Hudson-Bass and Tom Melito-Drums...I'm looking forward to the CD release sometime this fall.

2015 Highlights

Back in school! as Adjunct Instructor at Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, NY and at The College of St. Rose in Albany, NY. I'm also teaching Jazz Piano students at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY. Good gigs here in the Hudson Valley, and frequent appearances in NYC too. 2014 Highlights

Two trips to London in January, and a three-week US tour in April, with gigs in Arizona, Texas, New Mexico and Florida.
