My good friend from Houston, tenor saxophonist Woody Witt, was here this summer for a NY State tour. We played at Smalls in NYC, then did four performances in the Adirondacks and three more in the Hudson Valley. We also did a recording session of mostly our own compositions, with Lee Hudson-Bass and Tom Melito-Drums…I’m looking forward to the CD release sometime this fall.
